16 January 2013 - Today marks another birthday celebration in the family, celebrated in a different but meaningful way. Gary, my eldest son turns 20 today and to celebrate this day, he wished to share his blessings with his new-found friends, the lovely street people of Klang and Port Klang, whom he made acquaintance with last month. He sponsored some doughnuts as extra treat for that night's Reach Out Run. However, due to his studies commitment, he was not able to personally hand out the doughnuts, so Hubby did it on his behalf.

Reach Out Klang's nightly Run's food pack usually consist of a packet of Nasi Lemak, a small packet of biscuit, an orange and a bottle of mineral water, so having an extra doughnut put smiles of delight on their faces. A simple snack for many of us, can be a heavenly treat to others...
I am proud of my son who not only knows how to appreciate the blessings in his life but is also thoughtful enough to share it with others. As he turns 20, my wish for him is to lead a happy life and never to forget the passion for helping others which Hubby and myself instilled in him all these time.
